It is 4 degrees F outside and I sit in my studio gazing out the window at the snowy landscape. Before I get busy baking apple pies and cinnamon rolls for our Christmas feast tomorrow I will make a small painting of a yellow pepper in my small sketchbook. It is a lovely golden splendid bit of vegetable sunshine all by itself.
